Observation Suite – Control Room
The observation control room is a dedicated room for observing, recording and analyzing observational activities.
The observation suite consists of a control room and an observation laboratory.
The observation laboratory is a versatile space with celling mounted cameras, microphones, connectivity to the control room, and a mirrored window to the control room. The observation room is equipped with specialist toys and activities for use in observational research.
The observation control room contains an array of PC’s and specialist software for recording and analyzing observational data. The control room is interconnected to the observation laboratory, cognitive cubicles, and eyetracking cubicles, thus allowing for remote observation and control of experiments in all three areas. Live observations of activities in the observation laboratory can be view in real time, via a large screen TV or through the mirrored window.
